Wednesday, March 5 — Clearly Innovative attended the Digital DC & WeWork launch party at WeWork’s new co-working space in the former Wonder Bread Factory in Shaw. The event was well attended with techies, entrepreneurs et all from the DC Tech community. Mayor Grey spoke at the event and presented Digital DC, the city’s new initiative actively promoting the city as the leading community in the innovation and high-tech economy.
During his speech, Grey took the time to congratulate a number of noteworthy startups and programs including Social Radar, iStrategy Labs and Social Tables. The mayor also highlighted our company’s rapid success pioneered by our CEO, Aaron Saunders. Additionally, Grey acknowledged our involvement with the Howard University Middle School students in the Startup Middle School program, with specific recognition for the student group who won “Best In State” for the Verizon Innovative App Challenge.
