Aaron Saunders will be presenting this weekend at the Black Women in Tech panel at SXSW alongside Marissa Jennings, founder of SOCIALgrlz. The two will be discussing SOCIALgrlz together, a social community designed for African-American girls between the ages of 13 and 17. SOCIALgrlz is expanding off it’s current web presence and launching a mobile app which will provide vital information for African-American girls to assist them with self-esteem, social issues and educational information. The application also will provide an opportunity for African-American girls to interact with one another and discuss issues, trends and fashion know-how, as well as obtain advice on various issues from experts in the fields of health, beauty, education and other pertinent areas.
