Working with promises make life much more manageable when dealing with asynchronous functions in javascript. We have been using a combination of Promises libraries, q and async; this post will be about using the q library.
Appcelerator Cloud Services allows for the creation of custom objects to be persisted in the cloud by passing a javascript hash of name value pairs to store the data. There was a question in the Q&A forum that I have used as the basis for this posting. I that question, the user was trying to save multiple objects to Appcelerator Cloud Services using a callback, it was challenging.
