There are a number of local small businesses breaking their way into the DC startup scene. As a digital solutions agency working with clients ranging from startups to enterprise-level organizations, Clearly Innovative is excited and hopeful about this rapid growth happening in our own backyard. Next week, the FCC will be hosting a Small Business & Emerging Technologies Conference and Tech Fair. This public event will specifically be focusing on minority and women-owned entrepreneurs and small businesses in the DC area. 20+ exhibitors will be in attendance.
The schedule includes three panel discussions covering investment strategy, business scalability and success stories. The event concludes with a fast-pitch tech fair.
Marissa Jennings, the CEO of SOCIALgrlz will be a panelist on “How Did You Do That?” and FYE Sports Co-Founders, Thad Payton and David Gibson will be participating in the fast-pitch tech fair.
This event is Tuesday, January 27 9am-6pm in the Commission Meeting Room at the FCC headquarters: 445 12th Street SW, Washington, DC.
